Anekal Balraj was a Kananda producer. He financed the film Karia. The film was released in 2003, and it is known that the real rowdies appeared in the movie. The film was directed by 'Jogi' Prem. It was Jogi Prem's first film in the industry. The movie received so much audience praise that it ran successfully for 56 days. The movie was shown for 100 days in some theatres. The movie was also re-released many times and had a great recording. Anekal received huge limelight after that. He is known for the making of the films like Kariya 2 (2017), Kariya (2003) and Jackpot (2006). He became a successful producer in Sandalwood. Anekal Balraj went through serious injuries. He met an accident in JP Nagar on 15th May 2022.
