Chetan Sosca

Chetan Sosca is an Indian playback singer and composer. His record label is Aananda Audio Video. He is one of the famous figures in the Kannada Film and Music Industry who has sung more than 1000 songs. He was born in Bangalore, India. He has two daughters named Kruti and Tanya. He debuted in the music industry in 2001 with the film Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu along with the music composer Dr.Hamsalekha.

In 2007, he sang the pathos song “JanumadaGelathi” for the movie “CheluvinaChittara.” In 2008, he recorded songs for the movies like Taj Mahal, MogginaManasu and ChaitradaChandrama. In 2009, he won awards for the song “Yaare Nee Devatheya” from the film “Ambaari.”

He got Filmfare South Indian Awards, Suvarna Film Awards, Radio Mirchi awards, South scope south Indian awards, Karnataka State Film Awards for this song. He gave many more hits in the years 2010 and 2011 and won the audience’s heart again with his hits.

In the film Pancharangi, he recorded the title track and its sloka version. Songs of the movie “Krishnan Love Story”that is “adduri” was also in his melodious voice. His song “YaarigHelona” from “LifeauIshtene” made him win awards like Filmfare South Indian Awards. Suvarna Film Awards and the Santhosham south Indian award in 2011. He got Mirchi music award and nomination for Filmfare award for his song “PyargeAagbittaite” from the film GovindayaNamaha which was a great hit too.

His recent works include music in Cinderella from the film Addhuri, Appu Hey Appu from Dev Son of Mudde Gowda, Be BeBe from Rana, NinthuNodalenu from Shikari. He has also won ETV award, Udaya TV award, Chitrarasikara Sangha award, Aryabhata award, and Chitrapremigala Sangha award. His journey in this industry has been a great success. He also composed the music for the film ¼ kg Preeti in the year 2017.

He is not just a great singer but a great basketball and handball player too. He has played at the national level thrice in the Karnataka state senior basketball team and once in the Indian junior team too. At Karnataka state senior handball team, he played handball seven times in the national championships.
