Shwetha Pandith

Shwetha Pandith is an Indian Film Actress and Playback Singer. She worked in the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, and Bengali Industries. She also worked as a dubbing artist for a few films. Shweta was born on the 7th of July in the year 1986. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Shweta's father’s name is Vishwaraj Pandit, and her mother’s name is Swarna Pandit. She has a sister whose name is Shradhha Pandit, a singer. She also has a brother whose name is Yash Pandit, an actor. She is the grand-niece of Pandit Jasraj, an Indian Classical Vocalist. She had her schooling from Utpal Sanghvi School in Mumbai. She later went to Mithibai College. She got married to Ivano Fucci, Italian Film Producer on the 25th of July in 2016. Her hobbies are listening to music and dancing. Her favorite actors are Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar. Her favorite singers are Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Kishore Kumar, and Mohammed Rafi. Shweta sang in the movie Anjali (1990) composed by Ilayaraja. She was just four years old during this film. She started singing again at the age of fourteen with the film Mohabbatein (2000), in which she sang five songs. She worked in more Hindi films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011), Raja Natwarlal (2014), and many more. Shweta worked in many Telugu movies like Allari Bullodu (2005), Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008), Mahanubhavudu (2017), and many more. She worked in Tamil movies like Billa II (2012), David (2013), Anjaan (2014), and many more. She also sang for some Punjabi and Bengali songs. Shweta dubbed a role for the Hindi version of the films High School Musical and High School Musical 2. Shweta started hosting TV shows with Asia’s Singing Superstar (2016). She later hosted Mirchi Music Awards (2016) and Indian Idol- Junior (2015). Shweta started her acting career with a role in the Tamil-Hindi Bilingual film David (2013). She later worked in the film Barkhaa (2015). She worked on the TV show 24 (2016). She appeared in a Coco-Cola TV Commercial. Shweta won the Filmfare Award (Telugu) as Best Female Playback Singer for the film Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2009). She also won the Radio Mirchi Award for the Best Playback Singer Female for the song Idhayam from Billa 2. She won MAA Award for Best Female Playback Singer Telugu for her song from the film Shirdi Sai.
