Yuvraj Kalyankumar

Yuvraj Kalyankumar is an actor. He mainly works for the South Indian Film Industry. He is an engineer by profession, who worked for reputed IT companies for six years. While working in the different companies he thought to take a break in cinema. Acting is his passion. He makes his acting debut from film ‘Pattabhisheka.' This film is ready to hit the screens. Yuvraj's legendary grandfather name is Kalyan Kumar.

He gave him the advice to join the cinema Industry. Yuvraj says- Acting has been a part of my family since my grandfather's heydays. He always dreamt of acting since school but, his parents insisted that He finish his studies. He would usually accompany my grandpa to theatres, dramas and on rare occasions, for film shoots too. After completing engineering, He joined an IT company and worked for over six years.

After a point, He could not carry on the monotony of the job anymore and decided to follow his passion acting. He quit a year ago, and started working on acting, learned dance and honed my skills for fight sequences too." His father's name is Dwarakanath. He restricted himself from the theatre, and has rarely gone to see in commercial movies; Yuvraj reveals that he acted in a commercial film at a very young age.

He started his acting alongside his grandfather, which unfortunately never released. Again, he added the lines. My father had witnessed my grandfather's career, which had many difficulties. He was a bit skeptical and decided to stay away from commercial cinema. And that is the reasons, so he insisted that I have to finish my education before choosing a career option acting as a full-time career." He is in the sixth standard; when he got an opportunity to work along with his grandfather.

However, it was not a cakewalk as he took an audition. He is also director of few films. He convinces him about his role as a blind person by walking as a visually challenged person. Yuvraj did his schooling from Kumaran School. He did his graduation in mechanical engineering with Bengaluru Institute of Technology. In Movie Pattabhisheka, Yuvraj plays a role of simple village person with a Mandya dialect. He did a tribute to the legend; a song from his movie ‘MuthaideBhagya' is has changed in the remix with a few changes in the lyrics to suit the present context, stressing the need for speaking in Kannada.
