Ganesh Nirchal is a renowned Indian Film Editor who is known widely for his contributions, majorly in Kannada and Tulu industries. He started his journey with the successful editing of short film ‘The Shadow Puppetry’ which came out in 2017. In 2019, Nirchal made use of his editing skills in another film, ‘Katapadi Kattappa’. This particular film brought him much recognition in the film industry. He worked as an editor on movie ‘Pingara’ in 2019 as well which established him as an editor with the ability to handle sensitive plotlines. In the year 2024, Nirchal edited another Kannada film, ‘Ellige Payana Yavudo Daari’ directed by Kiran Surya. This movie is centred on the life of a painter, Amar, who meets other people on his journey weaves a rich tapestry of suspense and art with his editing in this plotline. During the same year, Nirchal also contributed to the Tulu film industry by editing ‘Daskath’, released under the banner of Bodhi Productions. The trailer of this film was launched in Mangaluru, and got boost with Nirchal’s editing.
