Naveen Padmanabha is an Indian Kannada filmmaker, screenwriter, and digital artist. He was born in Bangalore, India. He has studied at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He did pre-university in PCME – Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Electronics at careers for Bangalore youth. He obtained an art, history, and sculpture degree from the College of Fine Arts in Bangalore in 2006. He completed his post-graduate studies in direction and screenplay writing at the Film and Television Institute of India in 2012. Naveen has skills in screenwriting, photography, cinematography, graphic design, film production, film editing, documentaries, editing, motion graphics, video post-production, film direction, visual storytelling, short films, and video production. He has skills in tools and technologies like Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Adobe Creative Suite, and aftereffects.
Naveen has worked as a full-time graphic designer at One Advertising and Communication Services Ltd. (Aug 2004–July 2005), a full-time senior graphic designer at Strategic 360 Advertising (Jun 2005–June 2006), and a full-time creative supervisor at Fountainhead Promotions & Events Pvt. Ltd (Jan 2007–DDec 2007), a filmmaker at Blakol Studios (since 2004), and a full-time creative director at Blakol Infotech Private Limited (since May 2018). Naveen worked as a director and writer in a short film Open Café v2.5. He worked as a director and screenplay in the short film Amateurs (2016). His movie Amateurs received a special mention as a Best Short Film at Bratislava International Film Festival in 2017. He directed the short film F(X) (2919). His film F(X) was screened at Oberhausen International Short Film Festival in 2019.
