Harsha

A. Harsha is an Indian film director and choreographer. He was born in the Bengaluru city in the state of Karnataka. His father is T. Ashok and mother Poornima Ashok. He has a brother named Bharath Ashok who currently resides in California State of the Unites States. Harsha received his education from Sri Kumaran Children’s Home and Holy Saint English School. He also holds a diploma in Automobile from the Oxford College in Bangalore. He tied the knot with Sitara Vaidya and has two children named Aarya Jeevothama and Viraaj Jeevothama. His passion for dancing was developed from his childhood years and he received all the support from his family. He got spotted by a movie star in a stage show when he was offered to choreograph in the films. His career started as a stage choreographer and dancer along with his team named Xtremers. He works in films of Kannada language. He has done around 500 stage shows and also choreographed for about 100 movies featuring 300 songs approximately. He has also enacted the role of the brother of Kucha Sudeep in a film Kashi from Village. His debut in KFI in the year was in the movie titled Ranga S.S.L.C. as a choreographer. He received a great appreciation and recognition for his choreography for the songs of Kannada romantic film Mungaaru Male. Since then, he has choreographed for popular movies like Rishi, Meravanige and Moggina Manasu, Only Vishnuvardhana, Taj Mahal. He made his directorial debut as a director inwith the film Geleya in the year 2007, which starred actors like Tarun and Prajwal Devraj. He received appreciation for his direction and the movie made a mediocre hit amongst the audience. In the year 2009, he took up another project in the direction of the film Birugaali which cast Chetan of Aa Dinagalu fame. Next in the year 2012, he made another film titled Chingaari which starred Darshan and later in the year 2013 directed Bhajarangi which featured Shivarajkumar and was a huge success at the box-office. Again in the year 2015, he collaborated with Shivarajkumar for the movie Vajrakaya. His recent film is a Kannada comedy flick titled Jai Maruthi 800 which got released in the month of April this year. He is set to direct an upcoming film with Shivarajkumar for the film titled My Name is Anji. He also gotwas nominated for the Filmfare award under the category of Best Director in the Kannada language. He is an amazing talent and looks forward to delivering amazing films in future.
