Deepak Aras

Deepak Aras is an Indian filmmaker and entrepreneur. He runs his own production & event management company. Alongside, he is very passionate about making films, which is why film direction & production is his part of the business. He did his schooling at Seshadripuram High School. Later he pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & Finance from Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies. He has worked as a managing partner with Apple Pro Sound and Lights, which was associated with Blue Dolphin events & production.

Eventually, he stepped into the Kannada film industry. In 2011, Deepak Aras started his directorial journey with the movie Manasology. He wrote the story and screenplay for this movie and he was the one, who produced this movie. He was on a hiatus for almost a decade. Deepak is the elder brother of actress Amulya. Deepak is married and has 2 kids. 

Deepak had been fighting kidney issues. He died on 17th October 2024 due to kidney failure.
