Bharati Hegde, born on August 7, 1991, is an Indian classical dancer, yoga instructor, and actress who predominantly works in the Kannada Television industry. She completed her education in Siddapur, then did her Masters in Social Work at Christ University, Bangalore. She even worked in the Labour Department of Karnataka for some time before getting into acting as a profession. She is educated in Bharatnatyam and Hindustani Music.
She debuted in the entertainment industry after getting selected for the TV serial Shanthampapam and was shot to fame after playing the lead role of Chitra, in the TV serial Yaray Nee Mohini, aired on Zee Kannada. She even received the Best Actor Award for her performance in the short film Samaja. She also appeared in the movie Nigarvana (2020) and the TV serial Nayanthara, aired on Udaya Vahini. Bharati runs a YouTube channel by her name, where she posts videos of her classical dance performances.
