Zalak Desai or is a Hindi television actress. She was debuted in the Indian drama soap, Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai by Shashi Sumeet Productions. She played a supporting role as Sarla Ambar Raghuvansi. The story is about the poor girl Dhaani (played by ) who was married to Ambar (played by ), the son of a rich and powerful family. His family rejected Dhaani in their family and they forced Ambar to re-marry with Sarla who also came from a rich family. The story will revolve on how Ambar will do justice to hi two wives, whom he love evenly. The serial was aired on Star Plus channel. In 2010, Zalak gained the Favorite Devrani award in the STAR Parivaar Award for her appearance in this serial.
