Seema Raj is an Indian celebrity who worked as an actress in the Bollywood film industry. She also worked in the Bengali film industry. She is from Howrah, West Bengal, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She has conducted many seminars as an acting teacher for the NSD Extensive program in Guwahati. Seema's work has garnered international recognition. In 2013, she also acted in the English play Incredibly Frank for the Short and Sweet Festival in Mumbai. She has run theatrical clown shows that have been performed at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (N.C.P.A) and Sophia in Mumbai. In 2010, Seema directed and wrote a play for the exhibition of the Lotus Sutra held in Mumbai, a project in collaboration with the Institute of Oriental Philosophy and Bharat Soka Gakkai. Seema Raj also conducts voice and speech workshops regularly in Mumbai, India, to share her experience with aspiring performers.

Her short film "Sharbat" received special screenings at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and was an official selection at several festivals, including the Indian Film Festival, Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival, and D.C. South Asian Film Festival in 2016. The film won the Best Short Film award, and her project "0:0 PM" was nominated in the 'International Competition Section' at film festivals in Germany, Pakistan, the USA, and India in 2007.
