Alka Mogha is an actress who has recently appeared on the entertainment scene only in just the past few years. Her classic motherly/auntie appearance make her the perfect candidate for the roles she has thus far taken up in her acting career. Early on, she was given the opportunity to cast in a short film (half hour long) by the name of Kitewallah (2008) in which she plays as Razia. She is the mother of an eight-year old boy whose father dies. The movie as a whole revolves around family, friendship, struggles of adjusting to changes in life, and of course, kites.

Alka Mogha also portrayed a role in the short TV Serial Aaapki Antara (2009) as Mrs.Gupta and now her most recent, and still airing Indian Serial, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (2012) which has showed more than 200 episodes. It revolves around two young teenage girls’ lives and how their lives are just only beginning as they experience love, friendship, and other struggles. During the shooting of this serial she had an encounter with a leopard during the early dawn hours while she was sitting in her car. Like her wild experience, this TV serial has had its own share of great thrill and interest from the audience.
