Manish Wadhwa is an Indian Film and television actor. He hails from Ambala. He was born on April 23, 1972 in Mumbai. He started his acting career at the age of 16 with Mumbai theatre. He received the University best Actor Award in 1992. In the same year he also received coveted trophy for his acting performance in a Hindi play Sati. He also won 2 gold and 2 silver medal in a mime competition during his college days. Then came his comedy serial which established as an actor in Mumbai theatre world.

He slowly moved to commercial theatre and acted in 'Maa Retire Hoti Hai' and 'Dr. Mukta'with legendary Bollywood actress . These dramas were produced by San jay Goradia and directed by . He also acted with Javed Jaffrey in 'Ham Le gaye Tum Rah gaye'.

He also has a number of TV serials to his credit like Aangan, Amrapali, Shaktimaan, Kohinoor, Nawab Siraj-ud-Daula, Rajkumar Aryan, Shaurya aur Suhani, Mitwa-Phool kamal ke and Chandragupa Maurya. In the last named serial, he shaved his head to give an authentic look to his character of Chanakya which proves his dedication for acting. He has also proved his acting talent in 'Devon ke Dev-Mahadev' as Ravan and 'Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon' etc.

He has also worked in many telefilms, commercial ads, music videos and voice actor for many movies. He has also acted in several Bolywood movies like Bose-the Forgotten Hero directed by , Rahul, the Hope, Shabari of Ramgopal Verma and 2nd October etc.

he is also the winner of Indian Telly award 2012 for the best actor in a lead role.
