Raman Trikha Hindi Actor

Raman Trikha

Raman Trikha hails from Punjab and started his career in “Banegi Apni Baat”. He was lucky to get his first break in the very early part of his career.  The serial came in the era of Doordarshan when private channels were trying to make a mark with limited cable connections. So they used to produce very quality programs and this serial was produced by the famous duo “Deeya and Tony Singh”. It was the youth-oriented serial and culturally very open. Raman Trikha played the role of Rahul (a rich brat) and his character was very popular among girls. It was written very nicely and he performed the role very well. After doing few more serials, he shifted his base to down south. His first Tamil movie was ‘Monisha En Monalisa’ directed by T. Rajender. But after this movie, he was not offered any substantial role over there, so he moved his attention to Bollywood.    Some of the Hindi films he has done so far are Dance Party (as Peter), Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon! (As Rumi). He also worked in a few movies of “Ram Gopal Verma” who offered him a negative role in the movie ‘Gayab’ staring Tushar Kapoor and Antara Mali. The concept of the movie was good, but unfortunately, the movie bombed at the box office due to the poor performance of all actors and soon Raman went into oblivion. He also acted in a few music videos of the famous singers of our generation like Sukhbir, Chandan Das, Hans Raj Hans, etc. most of them were for Punjabi songs. He was also seen in the Movie “Hiss” (Irfan Khan and Mallika Sherawat), and he played the character called Navin. The Film did not fare well at the box office and hence killed his Hollywood aspirations. In the real life, Raman is the very simple guy and totally opposite of his characters in the movies. He loves spending time with his family and has a large number of pets. We wish him all the best for his future and upcoming projects.
