Born in 1966, Kanu Patel has been gracing the film industry for a decade now. His incredible contributions to films and their pride have only increased its glory. Just like every struggling actor, Kanu Patel couldn’t find good opportunities to achieve big in movies. So he started his career by involving himself in theatre plays and training workshops to learn from the best. Even after doing several supporting roles, Kanu was unable to find his stardom. Then one day, he was called for an audition for the character of the ever famous Guru Dronacharya in the Lord Krishna television series, and did receive it and he nailed the part.
Being a Gujarati, his influence on Gujarati films is high, and he has acted in more than ten movies, but his impact on Bollywood was only through one movie named Bhagat Singh. He has also worked in multiple advertisements and raised his voice and support for ample social causes. Further on, Kanu Patel has a profound interest in painting and is a well-known artist countrywide. Currently, he is a member of high art institutions, and because of his imminent work in the art field, in 2004, Kanu Patel was esteemed by the then Gujarat chief minister.
