Jimit Trivedi is an Indian Actor. He works predominantly in the Hindi Cinema and the Gujarati Film Industry. He has made a huge place for himself in Gujarati Cinema, fondly known as Dhollywood. However, he hasn’t had the same impact on the Hindi Film Industry yet. He is majorly known for his impeccable stage presence and flawless comical timing. He won many hearts when he made audiences laugh their guts out with his role in the flick Gujjubhai The Great. Jimit has openly expressed is love and passion towards this genre of flicks. He has also stated that it is not easy to excel in this stream of comedy and hence he always gives his 100% to his roles. He has added that doing comedies is refreshing and makes him enjoy his work.

Jimit Trivedi has revealed in a series of interviews that he could never have mapped out the success and love, Gujjubhai The Great received from the audiences. In fact, he was a little hesitant to choose another comedy as his second Dhollywood film, keeping in mind that his debut was also a comical flick. He played the character of Bakul Buch in the movie which became a phenomenon after the huge success of the film. Polam Pol is another big screen comedy that he acted in. Amongst the Hindi speaking crowds, Jimit Trivedi is well remembered for his character in the big screen horror drama Bhool Bhulaiya. Jimit and Akshay’s chemistry in the movie was appreciated by all and gave the audiences the much needed lightweight comedy required in the horror flick. Jimit’s exceptional performance while playing the character Goti is forever woven in the hearts of the fans of the film and Jimit.

The Hindi audiences also saw him in the Television show Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum in a small yet significant role. He has praised the producer – JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia for their theater-like work and approach. Jimit has also openly spoken about the Gujarati Government’s recent policy to promote quality Gujarati films, a step which was taken after the success of Kevi Rite Jaish. Jimit believes that the Gujarati Film industry should use this opportunity to its best potential. It’s his dream to see more sensible producers and filmmakers investing in the Industry. Jimit has confessed that his first love his theater. He used to participate in inter-college drama fests but realised early on in his career that the money in the theater is negligible, and hence, he started his journey in films and television. However, the theater is still his passion. One of his most appreciated performances was in the play Krishan Vs Kanhaiya which also starred Bollywood star Paresh Rawal. Jimit Trivedi is not a controversial actor but he is known for not shying away to make statements and give opinions. He also openly talks about his political views regarding topics like demonetization.
