Alpesh Dhakan is a popular Indian actor for television. He was born on February 25, 1985 and hailed from a Gujarati household in Mumbai. He studied at Poorna Prajna High School. At first, acting annoys him on his early life and this leads him to divert into theatre from managing their family business. His parents, Amrutal and Kapila Dhakan have been very supportive on his decision.
Alpesh initiated his career in acting through the play, Achalayatan (The Immovable) in September 2008. He did a reasonably small role but he considered it as his break which he completely acknowledge on the early chance meeting with actor, Manoj Shah at Mumbai’s Prithvi Theatre. In 2009, he did a Gujarati play entitled, Muktidhaam. The play starred Indian politician and actress, Smitri Zubin Irani and the play runs for 6 months with 80 shows around Mumbai. From 2010 to 2011, Alpesh performed in VRG Drama entitled, Gandhi Before Ghandi in the JAINA Convention in Belgium. Later, he did many shows around India especially in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Alpesh was debuted in small screen in 2011. He essayed the role of the youngest in the Uttank’s family in the drama serial,
on Zee TV. In 2012, he was also starred in Parichay – Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka on Colors TV. Then he appeared in the drama soap, Kya Huaa Tera Vaada on Sony Entertainment TV and in television sitcom, F.I.R. on SAB TV. In 2013, Alpesh was also featured in the serial, Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava? on Life OK and Savitri under the same channel. Alpesh replaces Eshan Bhatia who played the role of Ganesha in the popular mythological serial, Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev in November 2013. Eshan is said to be losing his weight which no longer fits on her character as Ganesha, so Alpesh replaced him on the show.

. He also played a protagonist role of Vikas in the upcoming Tamil film, Yaan under the direction and cinematography of Ravi K. Chandran. When Alpesh met Ravi in 2011, he considered it as one of the most essential turning points of his life. Ravi promised to cast him in his upcoming movie while Alpesh is shooting the ad for Llyod LED TV.
