Soon, he got selected for playing badminton at the national level.

Later, he went to Russia to study medicine at St. Petersburg University. Singh always wanted to be an actor, so he returned to Mumbai as soon as he finished his studies and gained a degree in medicine. He started his acting career by enrolling himself in an acting school in Mumbai in the year 2009.
