Mansoor Khan is an Indian film director and producer well known for his work as a writer and director in the movie “Qayamat se Qayamat Tak”. He is also known for his amazing work in “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander”. He was born in Hyderabad, India. Before entering the film industry, he completed his education at IIT and MIT. His wife's name is Mrs. Tina.

He is a father of daughter Zayn and son Pablo. He is the brother of Taqir Khan, who himself was an Indian Film Actor. He is well known for his work in “Yadon ki Baraat”. After these movies, he worked on two movies which were moderately successful. He was the writer as well as the director of the movie Josh. For “Akele Hum Akele Tum,” he only provided direction in the movie. In 2003, he launched a book named. “The Third Curve.” This book is all about the world economy. In this book, he talks about how unsustainable cities are and the false understanding of money by society. After this, he made his entry into film industry once again. He was the co-producer in the movie “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na,” which is the debut movie of his nephew, Imran Khan.

He was awarded as the Best director by Filmfare in 1988 for his movie “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”. For this movie, he is also awarded ‘National Film Award’ for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment (director). His movies were also nominated many times, and some of the nominations are, Best Story in 2001 (Josh), Best Director (Josh) in International Indian Film Academy.

In Filmfare Awards his movie “Josh” was nominated for Best Film and Best Director. His movie Akele Hum Akele Tum was nominated for Best Director in 1996. In Screen Weekly Awards, his movie Josh was nominated for Best Director in 2001. According to recent reports, he is living in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu with his wife and children. He has indulged himself in farming.
