Ashwin Sanghi is a writer well-known for his writings on the fiction-thriller genre. He was born on 25 January 1969 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling at The Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai. When he was a kid, he was more into reading. He used to read books from his parent’s collection. His father was a businessman but always helped him learn new words when he used to be on vacation. His mother used to stay at the house. After completing his schooling, he filled application form of St. Xavier’s College. He completed his graduation in BA (Economics). After completing his college, he moved to the United States. He completed his MBA at Yale School of Management. While he was completing his MBA, he started reading mythological novels. He also used to attend the seminars of writers and much more.
When he completed his education, he moved back to his home-town and took over his family business in 1993. Although, he used to manage the business, but somehow he made a time out of his hectic schedule to read. In 2007, he published his first novel named The Rozabel Line. The novel was among the best sellers of 2008. After the release of his first novel, he decided to start his career as a writer and also look after business alongside. Later in 2009, he released the revised version of The Rozabal Line, a thriller fiction novel that tells the readers the story about how Jesus survived the crucifixion and settled down in India. Later in 2010, he wrote Chanakya’s Chant, a book based on the theological and mythological theme. This book was among the bestsellers worldwide. He is considered as India’s best selling conspiracy fiction writer. He is the trendsetter of young businessman turning into writer while managing their entire business.
In 2012, he wrote The Krishna Key, which likes others, was a best seller. He hailed the name of Indian Dan Brown after The Rozabal Line and The Krishna Key. Both of them announced that they will co-write an India based thriller in 2013. In 2016, he wrote ‘The Sialkot Saga”. Ashwin Sanghi recently wrote Count to Ten: A Private Novel. This was also the part of the ‘Private’ series that he co-authored with James Patterson. In 2010. He won Vodafone-Crossword Popular Choice Awards, which was awarded him for his novel ,"The Chanakya’s Chant". The voting for the award was one online and was awarded for being the best seller of 2010. Later, he was awarded for the “Private India,” as it was the best seller in the UK. He was also included in the list of Celebrity 100 by Forbes. He released his latest novel in 2018. The name of the novel was Keepers of Kalachakra. It was released on 26 January 2018.
