Contrary to the recent reports, the film will release as per schedule on March 19. Director Aditya Dhar confirmed it through an Instagram story, putting all speculations to rest.

Dhurandhar is based on the legacy of our unknown men, who have wreaked havoc on the global terror cartel in the past six years. Despite a concerted campaign against the film, Dhurandhar turned out to be a massive blockbuster, breaking all previous records to become the highest grossing Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema, and the first Hindi film to earn 1000 crores in domestic gross elections. With a worldwide collection of more than 1310 crores on a combined budget of 250 crores [125 each for both parts], Dhurandhar is the fourth highest grossing film in the history of Indian cinema.

Dhurandhar 2 will now directly clash with TOXIC, which marks Yash’s return to the silver screen after four years. Geethu Mohandas will be directing this film.
