Despite a concerted campaign against the film, Dhurandhar turned out to be a massive blockbuster, breaking all previous records to become the highest grossing Hindi film in the history of Indian cinema, and the first Hindi film to earn 1000 crores in domestic gross elections. With a worldwide collection of more than 1310 crores on a combined budget of 250 crores [125 each for both parts], Dhurandhar is the fourth highest grossing film in the history of Indian cinema.
Dhurandhar 2 will now directly clash with TOXIC, which marks Yash’s return to the silver screen after four years. Geethu Mohandas will be directing this film.
