Mohammed Vakil was born at Jaipur in Rajasthan on January 25, 1976. He was born in a family of classical Ghazal singers. He gave his first stage performance at a young age of eight and later took a strong decision to establish himself as a singer. He was trained by his maternal uncles (Ustad Mohammed Hussain and Ustad Ahmed Hussain) who are Ghazal maestros. After his musical rigorous musical training, he won the musical (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa) contest. Later, his first album ‘Sapney’ hit the market. After which, he released two more albums, and every album had given some amazing Ghazals that can remain in the hearts of musical lovers still. In 2009, a musical video song ‘Keh Do Keh Do’ was sung by Mohammad Vakil for Sony Entertainment.
