Palash Sen is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, composer and actor. Best known as the founder of India's pop band, “Euphoria”. Palash was born to a Bengali father and a Dogra mother in Lucknow(Uttar Pradesh) but was brought up in Delhi at Connought place’s Railway Colony. Palash studied at ‘St. Columba's School’, Delhi. Palash used to participate in theater and singing, right from his childhood days and this is how he came to know about his singing capacities. He studied medicine at the “University College of Medical Sciences” (UCMS), in New Delhi, and received his M.B.B.S. degree .When in college, Palash set up his band “EUPHORIA” and his first composition is believed to be “Heaven of the seventh floor”. Palash mostly composed songs in English in his earlier days. Palash created “Euphoria” in his college days in 1988.
Euphoria's first release came in the form of the album 'Dhoom Pichack Dhoom,' in 1998; 10 years after the band was formed . 'Dhoom Pichack Dhoom,' was a major commercial hit and received great reviews from the critics worldwide. Euphoria went on to become the biggest Indian band, with five successful studio albums, one compilation and 17 music videos.

Palash has just completed a film called ‘Mumbai Cutting’, in which he plays the lead role. Euphoria gave the music to this movie. Palash got married to ‘Shalini Sen’, a lecturer at “Sri Venkateswara College”, Delhi, and the couple has two kids, ‘Kinshuk’ and ‘Kyna’. He runs a clinic and a studio in Delhi which is also known as "The Clinic".
