Mudasir Ali is an upcoming music composer in Bollywood. He is always tagged as a Kashmiri sensation Sufi singer, and even fondly considered to be the reborn voice of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, for his high vocal pitch. He has even enthralled the audience for over two and a half hours (non-stop performance) in a live show. He is composing music for an upcoming film, 'Lucknow Times', which is likely to be released in September 2016. In this movie, veteran singer, Asha Bhonsle, has agreed to lend her voice for the music composer, and Mudasir will also have the opportunity to sing a duet number with Asha. Not many know that this aspirant singer used to perform in police functions to entertain the battle-weary officers. He hails from Kashmir and has always been an aspirant singer for Bollywood.

Last year, the singer and composer was a Guest of Honour at the San Francisco Global International Festival, and was the recipient of an honorary award from the festival organizers.
