Making a career in the film industry and then keeping it the same is not easy, some succeed in it and some fail. Same way this actor earned his name by his hardworking skills and long lasting spirit. He contributed to the industry as a dialogue and a story writer. With his experience of more than 24 years in writing, he has given a lot to the industry. He has written for many people like Satish Kaushik, Anubhav Sinha etc, and production houses like Venus, Viacom 18, and Tandev Films, etc. His career also included writing of around 600 Gazals and creating Jingles for companies such as PepsiCo and PVR. He is known as a dialogue writer for the films “Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene”; it was a Hindi comedy thriller film and ‘Warning’, it was also a thriller 3d movie. And also worked as a screenplay writer for the same. He also worked as a writer in ‘Surkhaab’.
Recently at the International Film Awards held in Noida, this great dialogue writer received an award on behalf of Summit Suri for the Best Supporting Actor (Male). After his work for the movies, he is also remembered for the film “Dal: The Gang” in the year 2001. He also happened to play a role in the film. The movie is about five different friends from completely different religious backgrounds who were living in the slum which was to be demolished by a landlord, and the prevention was only by paying Rs. 2 Crores to the landlord. In his recent works, can be counted the TV series ‘Dahleez’, which was broadcasted on Star Plus. This show was a romantic, drama which was based in Delhi with a total of 104 episodes. In which, the male lead was an IAS officer and the female lead was in the role of a lawyer. Rajesh Chawla was the writer of this television series with Farhan Salaaruddin. This series was aired from 14th of March to 26th of June 2016 everyday on Star Plus.
