The movie was directed by Laxman Utekar Laxman Utekar is a new age Cinematographer working >> Read More... , and was a surprise hit, earning a total of more than 110 crores worldwide over a medium budget of 40 crores. The movie had released on 2 June 2023, but it’s OTT release is coming almost a year later.

But why did the OTT release take so long? This is because the movie had almost no takers. This was surprising since ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ had earned way more than the original budget, and wasn’t commercially unsuccessful in any way.

However, due to its controversial subject, the film had to struggle for a proper OTT release. It finally released on Zee5 on 16 February 2024, 9 months after the original film’s release.
