Sweta Mishra is a Hindi screenplay writer. At Miranda House, University of Delhi, she served as the head of the Hindi Sahitya Samiti. In the Inter College Festival's Nukkad Natak, she placed second while representing her college. She was named the Hindi department's Best Student of the Class 98 Batch. At Tulsi Jayanti, she received first place for my essay on Swami Tulsidas. She has 20 years of experience in the storytelling industry, including 20 years of scriptwriting and 5 years of directing documentary films and Indelible Moments. She penned screenplays for American and international thriller series on Netflix (Tentatively Titled - Hostile Love). She also contributed to the Indonesian television drama series (Titled - Cinta Sebening Embum, Mutiara Hati, Pelangi De Matamu). She served as Senior Producer (Project Head) for Star India Pvt. Ltd. for five years (Star Plus Content Engine).

She was given the Newcomer Original Script Idea Award at the 2004 OSIAN Feature Festival (rewarded with a role as an AD in a French, Kannada, and Hindi film project). Out of 50,000 participants, she was chosen as one of the 8 gifted writers at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. She collaborated with Pascal De and served as the director of "The Wanderer," a project of the Indo-French Collaborative. Maya Angelou's quote, "There is no deeper suffering than having an unsolved story inside you," used to be her mantra. She is a skilled director and screenwriter. As a scriptwriter, storyteller, author, and consultant, she has been working for hire. Her ongoing projects include the audio OTT platform Pocket FM's Creative Content. She created a documentary film about Adi Guru Shankaracharya for the Indian Ministry of Cultural Affairs. She wrote the screenplay for a biographical documentary about Shri Narendra Modi, the Indian prime minister. She created the online series' pilot episode for Netflix in the USA.

The project is still active. The first season has twelve episodes. She was a consultant for an acting course taught by Mr. Larry Silverberg, Meisner 2.0. She assisted him in designing the curriculum by Indian Standards by emphasizing the importance of the script in acting. As the organization's Script Head, she oversaw a group of 5-7 Writers, including 3–4 Professional Writers and 2–3 Interns, as they worked on one show from concept to development to finalization of the shooting script. She had to oversee the series from the planning stage through the implementation stage in her capacity as a Creative Person for the channel. She ran the show till the very last episode aired. It involved choosing an idea in line with the Channel ideology. She used to assist the production company in putting the idea on the market.
