Mayank Jain

Mayank Jain is an executive producer, documentary maker, and TV journalist from India. He has also worked on a series, and a book on the prominent chief minister of the governance model. In 2007, he made a film showcasing Narendra Modi’s unique model of governance called “India Tomorrow: The Gujarat Miracle.” Eventually, the movie received broad publicity in newspapers and media channels and Mayank Jain gained lots of appreciation for this movie. During the 2012 Gujarat elections, he served as a content head on Namo TV. Mayank Jain is known explicitly for “Chunavi Maidan” because of its unique style.

He has more than twenty years of experience and has made more than 50 movies on a variety of subjects and his films are known to receive wide appreciation from audiences and critics. His films cover severe issues like nutrition and health, development, agriculture, and national security. Apart from that, Mayank Jain produced an investigation documentary, The Bangla Crescent – ISI, Madrasas & Infiltration, which is about national security. In 2005, this documentary was released to the national press in New Delhi, by senior IPS officers like Shri Prakash Singh, and Shri KPS Gill. Alongside, one of his other movies “The Evidence—Meat Kills,” was also released by the Press Club of India in 2017, in New Delhi.

Along with that, he has produced several movies on the Gujarat Model, including Gujarat Tomorrow, Gujarat Fast Track, No to Terror, etc. In 2008, he made a film on the development model of Chhattisgarh and included Naxalites and their victims in the movie. Mayank Jain has contributed to various current affairs programmes, documentaries and crime series for channels like Doordarshan, Zee TV and SAB TV. Mayank Jain directed and wrote the script for the documentary “Death Warrant,” by Doordarshan. In this documentary, he discussed several important topics like drug addiction, alcohol abuse, HIV-AIDS and food adulteration.
