Just like the couple in fiction novels. Brajesh always took care that his lady is not left behind him, and has been a perfect husband. Dinesh Bansal was running a steel business but his luck diverted him to the entertainment business and now he is one of the most successful TV show producers in Indian TV. His family was associated with theatre and plays and so his first venture was not on TV, but a production of a film titled 'Gunaah' which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt in 1993 and later, he forayed into TV production that was launched on Zee TV. He launched his Meteor Films that produces TV series but had never gone to list the same in stock exchanges so that the company could raise money through public issue. That is why his business venture did not fly off like Balaji or UTV. His first TV series was ‘Kurukshetra’. His other TV shows include Ghar Jamai, Alvida Darling, and Gharana. Meteor Films had produced series like 'Basera' that was telecast on Zee TV and it was aired in 2000 and became the most successful series in the TV channel. The series had Alok Nath, Arun Govil, and Ranjeet in the main cast. It was a series shown in a backdrop how members living with a joint family compared to living in a nuclear family setup. Dinesh Bansal wanted to portray only human emotions and their ideologies. He got inspiration from legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor, who once told him, if there is no inter-link of emotion in the screen, the drama becomes silly. He used to be quite selective with the channel and only those channels that assured him payments in time, he agreed to work with them. He was even choosy on his subject and even the director. He used to select Anant Mahadevan for comedy subject and if it is dramas, he used to opt for Chander Behl. He always felt TV is a producer medium. Action is not an offer which he ever got to get associated with but sometimes, felt he could become director even
