Nilanjana Purkayastha is a famous producer in Bollywood. She has worked in the production industry for more than a decade now. Nilanjana is a graduate holding a diploma in television production. She has worked in several channels like; Star plus, Sahara One, and NDTV Imagine. She is currently working as the business head of “Bag films.” Bag Films is a leading production company and, she is managing the production-related business of Bag Films. Her only business motive is to increase the shows produced by the company without compromising on the quality. Nilanjana had worked in Sahara one before taking over the position in Bag Films. During her period of work in Sahara one, she has produced several great shows. Her association with Sahara one was less than a year but, she has produced successful shows like; Mata ki Chowki and Saas vs. Bahu.

She has worked in NDTV in the programming department, where she was into organizing programs. Mata ki Chowki is a television series that aired from 2008 to 2011 with 845 episodes. This series story revolves around the countless events that unfolded in the life of an orphan girl and her immense faith in Goddess Vaishnavi Devi. At the same time “Saas vs Bahu” was a dance competition between the mothers-in-law and the daughter-in-law of the famous television series in Sahara One. These two shows were indeed a great addition to her success line. She also was the producer and creator of the historical series “Peshwa BajiRao.” Nilanjana Puryakastha has also worked in “Star Plus.”She is working with Star Plus for several years now.
