He co-founded the production and distribution company Clean Slate Filmz with Anushka Sharma to bring out fresh content. The crime thriller movie N. H 10, featuring Anushka Sharma in the lead, was the first film to get released under the banner. Upon release, the movie earned excellent comments and was considered being a sleeper hit. In 2017, he produced the Hindi fantasy movie Phillauri, which revolves around the ghost spirit Shashi. The film, too, did successfully at the box office. Around June 2017, they started the work for their production. Pari, a supernatural horror film starring Anushka Sharma, got released in 2018.

The movie got applauded for its non-cliched horror content. Karnesh Ssharma served as the producer for 2020 releases Paatal Lok and Bulbbul.
