BL Batra is a singer, writer cum producer in the Hindi entertainment industry. He was born and brought up in Ghaziabad. He is a law graduate and has been practising as an advocate in taxation. He is the trustee of the People For Animals organisation. Batra is the President of the Western UP Taxation Bar.
In 2019, he was one of the members making the short film Pagli, which won the Best Story Award at the Great Message Film Festival held in Pune. He uses the name Amitra for his singing career. He has released a lot of singles in his voice, besides penning the lyrics of those songs. In 2017, he wrote, sang, and produced Dil Ki Baaten, one of his highly viewed video songs.
