Andrey Purushottam is the founder and managing partner at Cogito Advisors LLP. Andrey did his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He did his PGDM in Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He started his career as a management trainee and then promoted to account manager and then as general manager at Lintas India. In Hindustan Lever Limited, he worked as a senior product manager. In Hindustan Unilever Limited, he worked as a senior brand manager. Then, he joined Lintas Indonesia as a Director, Client Servicing Unilever Business. In 2000, he joined Asiacontent as a managing director. In 2001, he joined Starcom India as a managing director.
In 2004, he became the CEO of Mahindra Gujarat Tractors Ltd & EVP Business Strategy. In 2008, he became the CEO Of Mumbai Mantra, the media and entertainment arm of the Mahindra Group, which ventured into the production of movies. In 2011 and 2012, he worked for Helix Investments and Space Matrix Design India. In 2013, he founded Cogito Advisors LLP.
