Babita Ashiwal is a producer, writer, and cinematographer. She was born in New Delhi, Delhi, India. She is a part of the Bollywood entertainment industry and has worked in the industry mostly for Hindi language films. She resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She has done her education from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Arts, CBSE from the year 1992-1996. She has done an M.A. in films from Jamia Millia Islamia from 2000 to 2002. Her Master’s degree is from AJK MCRC JMI which is one of the very reputed institutes in South Asia. She has been working in the field for many years and has gained a lot of knowledge.
She has her own experience in fiction as well as non-fiction programs. She has directed various ‘Corporate Audio Visuals’ and documentaries on subjects like Child Labour, AIDS, Special Children, Indian Classical Musical Culture, Widows of Vrindavan, Injuries Among Children, Women in sports, Rural India, etc. She is honored to teach as a ‘Guest Faculty’ in Indian Universities. She is a filmmaker for Housefull Movies. She is a freelance producer for almost the past 6 years and 7 months from the year 2016 to the present. She is known for movies like Flight (2021), 3 Seconds Divorce (2018), Maya (2018), etc.
