Ashok Chakradhar was born in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, India on 8th February 1951. After completing his studies, he worked as a professor in many colleges and Universities. At the Institute of Life Long Learning (ILLL), University of Delhi, in 2007, he was the Hindi Coordinator. The Hindi Academy, Government of Delhi appointed him as its vice-chairman. He was also the vice-chairman of Kendriya Hindi Shikshan Mandal, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Ashok Chakradhar is an Indian poet, author, and former head of the Hindi department at Jamia Milia Islamia (Central University). He’s been an active participant in the television and radio world. He has made appearances on television shows like “Choti si Asha” on Sony TV with Sandhya Murty. He’s been a host too for the popular television show “Wah Wah” on Sab TV.
