Yajdhani Jalandhari was an eminent personality in the Hindi industry. He is a renowned poet, writer, and Journalist. Yajdhani was born on 16th July 1915 in Jalandhar, a district in Punjab. His original name is Abdur-Rashid Yajdhani. He has completed his education till Adeeb Faazil. He has worked as an editor in several weeklies and dailies. He has the best collection of poetry that includes Toseef, Subh- E- Sa'adat, Yaaran-E-No, Ulijhan, Dehati, Samaaj, Qaidi Ke Qutuut, Husn Parast, and Awara. He is known for translating Gora (A Novel of Tagore) and Afsaane (A Tolstoy). The audience loves his poems, writings, and articles. Yajdhani died on 23rd March 1990.
