Vishal J Singh

Vishal J Singh is an Indian artist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, who has significantly influenced the progressive metal and fusion genres. He was born in Mumbai. He is the grandson of Labanya Prabha Hazarika - a celebrated composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist from Assam who was active between 1935-1938. When Vishal was ten years old, he began playing the drums. A year later, he picked up the guitar. He could perform covers of Led Zeppelin, The Who, Dire Straits, Rush, and Deep Purple when he joined his first band at the age of fifteen. He is well-known in the music industry for his outstanding guitar playing and creative musical style. Vishal has worked on many projects and one of the best work was Amogh Symphony.

Later, after the release of Amogh Symphony, he worked on many of them, which were unique with melodic sensibility. Vishal has made significant contributions as a film music composer with two movies in the year 2008, Dvandva and in the year 2009 Tandra movie. Being an accomplished guitarist, Vishal is renowned for his mastery of various guitar tones, complicated solos, and novel playing methods.
