Tushar Joshi is an Indian playback singer, music composer, and producer who works principally in the Hindi industry. He has worked on quite a few projects varying from digital, television, and movies. Tushar Joshi was born and brought in a small town in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Since his young days, he has had an interest in music. Tushar's father realized his son's passion, so he enrolled him in the Bhatkhande Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, a music institute in Madhya Pradesh.

Tushar graduated with a Visharad degree in classical music. In 2009, he moved to Mumbai to study Audio Engineering at the School of Audio Engineering. He launched a YouTubestation in 2011 and began publishing a cover version of popular Hindi songs. Tushar Joshi gathered a fair amount of audience for his content, who admired his voice and style of singing. In August of 2015, he joined as an assistant to the Indian composer, Pritam. The makers were in search of a voice for actor Ranbir Kapoor's character in the film but did not find anyone. Pritam and Anurag Basu asked Tushar to give a try, and to his surprise, they were happy with his voice. Previously he had worked as a vocal conductor on films such as Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), Dangal (2016), and Raees (2017). Tushar faced a lot of strain to match Ranbir Kapoor's deep voice in the film, who has stuttering issues, only sings whenever he wants to say something. Eventually, Tushar pulled it off.

Musafir, the song sung Tushar in the album, became a huge hit. In 2018, Tushar received Mirchi Music Awards for his work in the movie Jagga Jasoos. After Jagga Jasoos, Tushar Joshi continued to work with Pritam on his films such as Raabta (2017), Tubelight (2017), and When Harry Met Sejal (2017) as a vocal conductor and singer. He is perpetually expanding his playback singing zone and has even sung a song titled 'Momer Shohor' in Banga language. Apart from movies, he has performed in MTV Unplugged show and used to perform in private and open events. Tushar also performed with his band at Youtube Fanfest Event 2015, and collude with a lot of independent singers and lends his voice for their album. Tushar Joshi is married to Shoumee Mukherjee. He hopes to publish more music videos on Youtube and is open to collaborating with other artists.
