Naushad Ali the son of Wahid Ali was an Indian virtuoso and is also known as 'The Mughal-E-Azam of Music', he was one of the most prodigious singers and is considered to be the soul of the Indian music industry. He was prominent for the classical music and introducing the industry with the tremendous rhythm and compositions.

He was born on 25th December 1919 and died on 5th May 2006. He belonged to the city of nobles Lucknow and did his graduation from United Provinces of Agra and Oudh, British India. He was the first individual to bring in western instruments in India. He composed music for 66 films.His meticulous care taken towards his simplicity of music made him a silver spoon for the country. In his life, he faced many disturbances and struggle; he sometimes even slept on the footpath because of financial muddles. As it is said that hard work pays he finally secured a position of the pianist in Mushtaq Hussain's orchestra which was the turning point for his career and was the starting for his prodigious life.

He then signed movie Prem Nagar and later on in 1944 he signed Ratan which directly took him on top and was a smash hit for his career. He then did spectacularly amazing compositions which were the blockbusters of that time and is going till now. He later on composed music for films like Pakeezah(1972), Ganga Jamuna(1961), Mughal-e-Azam, etc, the last film he composed music for before dying was “Taj Mahal- an eternal love story” at his age of 86 and then became the oldest composer.

He won several awards for his work filled with variance and soulfulness. Because of his profound contribution to the industry, he is in everyone's heart till now and will always be.
