The duo composer has also worked in KBC (Kohima) and Indian Idol. Recently, the composers worked in an ad for ICC World Cup. The ad film was titled as 'Mauka Mauka.' This fetched both of them popularity. Vijay Dubey wrote the lyrics, and Alamgir khan rendered the voice with a Sufi tune for the song.

It is said that Rohan Utpat and Vinayak Salvi were friends since the age of four and are trained musicians. They have worked for an Amitabh Bachchan TV show. Rohan Utpat, Aarti Shenai sang the song, and the music was composed by Rohan &Vinayak. Rohan was a part of a band called ‘Chor Bazaar.’ After quitting the job, he came to know about the sound direction and got into composing music for advertisements through a friend.

After having practiced with his friend, Rohan Utpat started working independently as well as with Vinayak. The first ad they both got in their hands was in June 2011, and the advertisement was from a renowned production house. Afterward, the duo composer met the director of Nil Battey Sannata, who was also an expert in directing advertisement movies and Rohan and Vinayak jointly did an ad with the film director. This gave them a scope to come closer to the movie director. Along with Vinayak, Rohan has worked in many film promos too and worked in a short film 'Speechless.'
