Aslam told media that he was fortunate to work for this ‘Ungli’ track, and this soundtrack had folk music too. He also thanked Karan Johar for his interest in this particular song and Karan even advised Aslam that the song should sound unique. With Karan Johar’s suggestions, Aslam Keyi’s composition gave a new turning point to his career. Initially, it was planned by Dharma Productions that duo Salim-Sulaiman would compose the promotional track, but later Aslam made his entry into the scene.
