Pooja Batra’s mother Neelum Batra took part in the contest of Miss India in 1971. She was also a model and used to do modeling at a very young age as a part time job. Pooja Batra was particularly famous for the commercial of Liril soap. In fact, she was the first model to show up for the ad of Head and Shoulders shampoo in India. She took part in many campaigns of advertisements in India as a model. She reached to the heights of fame when she became the Miss India in 1993.
