Urvashi Sharma was born on 13th of July, 1984 in Delhi India. She is an Indian model and a Bollywood actress. She was born to an Indian father and Afghanistan mother. Her sister is Sucheta Sharma, who is also a top model and an actress in India. Recently, Sucheta appeared in film “”. Urvashi was interested in dancing and modeling since she was small. Urvashi grew up in Delhi and later she moved to Mumbai to begin her career as a model. Also, she became first runners-up in the reality show named, Khataron Ke Khiladi. She is 5 feet and 8 inches in height. Before she starts her career in Bollywood cinema, she worked as a model. She has appeared in TV commercials for several leading cosmetics brands in India, such as Ponds and Garnier. Also, she has appeared for TBZ, Globus, Kit Kat, and Hyundai i10. Urvashi Sharma has featured in several music videos including “Doorie” by Atif and “Something Something” by Mika. She started her career as a Bollywood actress in year 2007. Her first film was “Naqaab” which was a production of and . There, she played the role of Sophia D'Costa Oberoi. In Naqaab, she got the opportunity of doing a main role and working with Bollywood superstars such as, and . The film was released on 13th July, 2007 and it was a commercial success. The movie received positive reviews from the critics. She was nominated for the Filmfare award for the best female actress for her performances in Naqaab.
