Personal life: Shakti Kapoor was born in Delhi, India as Sunil Kapoor. He was the second child among the four children of his parents Mr. Sikanderlal Kapoor and Ms. Susheela Kapoor. Sharad Kapoor is an Indian actor who was born on February 13 1976 in Calcutta (now Kolkata), India. Sharad started his career as an assistant director with the film ‘Lakshman Rekha’ but that’s not all. Because of his rough n tough look and masculine personality he couldn’t stay away from acting and become an actor starting with the film ‘Mera Pyara Bharat’ in 1994. Sharad married Koel Basu in 2008. She is the granddaughter of Jyoti Basu. Sharad has a personality that says it all and people would never like to mess up with him. Career: Sharad started his career in 1994 only. After his debut film, he got various and movies and signed them which includes both as a lead actor or just a small role.But his work as a local goon ‘Prakash’ in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Josh' is considered his best performance of his career to date, for which he has even got nominated in Filmfare Awards' Best Villain category. Josh, which released in 2000, was one his most successful films in which he appeared in the role as a villain with Shahrukh Khan. The film was a hit and well appreciated by both audience and critics. From this movie only his skills in the negative role were defined and he was known for his nonheroic roles only. After that, he was later seen in Salman Khan's famous film Jai Ho, released in 2014.
