Revant Shergill

Revant Shergill is a well-known Indian singer, songwriter who does freelance musical events. New Delhi is Revant’s hometown. He presently stays in Mumbai. He is a trained musician and vocalist. He got his training from A.R. Rahman School of Music, also known as K M Music Conservatory, Chennai in the academic year 2010-2011. He has also completed sound engineering at WAPA which is a branch of A.R. Rahman School of Music, Chennai.

His brother, Jivitesh Shergill is also a musician. He has professional training in different forms of music. He has covered a number of styles including Indian Classical, Western Classical, Semi-Classical, Pop, Jazz, Opera, and Hindi film music. Revant was always passionate about music from his childhood. In the initial years, he was a self-taught musician and then he took up courses to further groom his skills from reputed musicians. He tries to mix different styles of music to create his unique style. He mostly blends in the classical music with western and contemporary music and gives it a new look and style of his own.

Revant gives live performances outside India with collaboration and background of several musicians from western countries like Australia, US, London, France, and gives a different edge to the classical music.

He also has a YouTube channel and Facebook. He posts musical videos to the channel. He tries to create his rapport with his YouTube channel. He has more than 500 views on YouTube and is trying to gain more and more views and subscriptions. He has done Playback singing for different movies and TV serials in Gujarati and Tamil languages. Revant has sung and composed music for different television commercials. They include LIC of India, LIC Jeevan Shagun, expert, fame anthem and a lot more.
