Jadish Sethi was born on 15 January 1903 in Bombay, Maharashtra in the famous Punjabi Gali where all famous actors, director, writers, producer of that era lived.  He is a famous Bollywood Actor, Director, and Writer.

He has acted in famous movies such as the first Indian sound movie Alam Ara (1931), Do Dil (1955), Sardar (1955), and Kiklee (1960). He had a brother Sudershan Sethi, who was also an actor who has worked in movies Gandhi (1982), Jewel Thief (1967) and Bullet (1976). Jagdish is also believed to be an astrologer.

He had a son named Omesh. He was Deck Master Mariner in the Indian Merchant Navy,he died of cardiac arrest in 1993; he was barely fifty at the time of death.

Jadish has worked in around 66 movies as Actor, director, Writer. He has worked in five movies as director Do Dil (1947), Raat Ki Rani (1948), Insan (1952), Jaggu (1952), Pensioner (1954).

He has worked as an Actor in almost 60 movies; some of his famous works are Alam Ara (1931), Sher-E-Arab (1930), President (1937), Kanhaan Hai Manzil Teri (1939).

He has also worked as Screenwriter, Story Writer, and Producer in movie Raat Ki Rani (1948) which was a great critical success at that time. Jagdish was also a famous lyricist, and his works Pyaar Ki Raah Dikha Duniya Ko, Pyaari Surato Moh Bhari Murto, Sitam the hazaar sukr ke are still famous among aged people.

At the age of 63 Jadish Sethi on 12th June 1969 died at his house due to old age illness.

Jatin Sarna

Jatin Sarna was born on 2 November 1984, to a Punjabi family in New Delhi. He is a Bollywood movie Actor, Composer and also, theatre Actor/Director. Jatin has acted in several famous movies and plays. He is currently living In Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his early education at Bharat National Public School and completed his graduation with B.com in commerce from Delhi University in 2007. Later to develop skills in acting, he joined Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts for his two years acting course and worked as repertory actor until 2011. Jatin made his acting debut with Rajesh Ranjan Kumar’s Dear Friend Hitler (2011) which was released as ‘Gandhi to Hitler’ in India. He later acted as Javed in Abhinav Tiwari’s Oass (2012). He played an essential role as ‘Sanjay Foreigner’ in Meeruthiya Gangsters (2015) which was directed by Zeishan Quadri and audience appreciated him for his acting.  Recently, he acted in Sanjeev Sharma’s Saat Uchakkey which was released on 14 October 2016. His latest movie is Muavza – Zameen (2017) Ka Paisa directed by Girish Juneja. He has acted in many plays in theatre. His skit “Gangster Samiti” received a fantastic response from the audience and was praised by critics. He has appeared in a TV commercial for Murugappa Group.  Jatin has also acted in short films - A Perfect Murder, Rage. Rage is his latest short film; on 8th July 2017, it was screened at Whatashort Independent International Film Festival, at Instituto Cervantes, Connaught Place, New Delhi. His other Short Film ‘A Perfect Murder’ won several awards at 48 Hour Film Project which included Best Actor award for him in 2012. Jatin recently appeared in ‘On Camera with Ravie’ a TV series where he shared his previous experiences and struggles at the beginning of his Bollywood career. Currently, Jatin is working on Netflix original series ‘Sacred Games’ which is being directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, in which Jatin is playing as a character 'Bunty'. The serial is based on the novel Sacred Games by Vikram Chandra. He has acted in several movies, short movies, TV shows and Theatre plays, some of his best-known works are O Teri, Unfreedom, Rage(short), Meeruthiya Gangsters, Saat Uchakkey, Yamdas, Zindagi Dot Com, Faujji…The Iron Man, All My Sons, Veer Abhimanyu, Gud Gobar Ganj, Bolti Dewaren, Love Ka Overdose. He has acted in more than thirty plays.
