Farhan Khan is a popular professional model, theatre actor and Rookie actor who was born on 06 May 1983 in Mumbai. He is 6’ tall and was an athlete who wanted to be part of the Olympic Games. He was a four-time Mumbai University record holder and also at the state level. He was unable to pursue his dream of entering the Olympics as he felt that it was completely “filled with politics”. After his failed attempt at sports, he became depressed. He holds a B.A in English Literature from St. Andrews, Bandra. He is currently studying to become a lawyer and intends to pursue his Master of Philosophy degree and PhD further. He is a very simple guy and extremely diplomatic.

Farhan happens to be from a television family, with his father and brother being part of the industry. Incidentally, the Director of ‘’ on Zee TV is Farhan's elder brother. He made his debut with Sony TV show ChhanChhan in the lead role opposite Sanaya Irani. Their on-screen chemistry is well and good. About this show, he says “I am sure girls will like Chhanchhan but I really hope girls look at me as well. I hope I win this competition and girls like me more” Farhan’s grandfather was a distributor and film publicist. His father is a theatre artiste, a film and TV producer and a documentary filmmaker. His uncle is a producer and his brother is a director of TV shows like Bhagyavidhaata among others. Both his elder brother and mother are writers.
