Joy Badlani started his career as a Bengali movie actor. He initiated his career in the year 1992 for the screen play Katto Bhalobasa. In 1993, he recorded the picture and in 1996 he worked for the play Lethi which is an action drama produced by Prabhat Roy this motion picture featured Debashree Roy, Soumitra Chatterjee, Victor Banerjee, and several other artists. Gurudas Banerjee

Gurudas Banerjee, also popularly known as Gurudas Bandyopadhyay, is a Bengali theater actor who has also acted in various movies and commercials since his debut in the industry in the 1940’s. Gurudas used to portray the role of saints and sages. His is very favored for the role of holy men, which he portrayed in most of his projects. Gurudas is said to have completely dominated the role he played as the Bengali religious person, Sri Ramakrishna, in many movies. He has been a part of more than 80 films in his life span and has also acted in various movies, along with his wife, Molina Devi. The two started their independent touring theater, which specialized in producing the spiritual drama, named as M. G. Enterprises. In 1948, Banerjee debuted at the Calcutta Kalika Theatre and portrayed Sri Ramakrishna for ‘Yugadevata’. He continued his work and appeared in theaters and movies until 1980. Banerjee married one of the finest actresses in the industry during that period, namely 1971, and started a production firm along with her. Banerjee loved his work, and the audience loved the character he portrayed, therefore there is nothing wrong in calling him the perfectionist of his time. Gurudas played a variety of roles during his era, but people immensely remember him for the role of Sri Ramakrishna, a role he portrayed the maximum number of times in his work. In 1984, when Yugadevata was showcased at the theatres, two actors, Gurudas Banerjee as Sri Ramakrishna and Molina Devi as Rani Rashmoni, won the hearts of the audience and the judges appreciated their acting. Banerjee’s dedication and hard work paid him well as he was one of the richest people in his state, and was highly respected and acclaimed by the audience. He and Molina came together for many movies, and many were the projects of his personal firm. Banerjee left the industry and limelight in 1980, and his wife, Molina Devi, died in 1977.
