Standing tall at 5’7”, the 28 year old Pooja Misrra was born in Munger, Bihar.
She is an actress, international video jockey and a model who has made a special place for herself in the industry.
Pooja started her stint in the world of television with the talk show
Jab We Met
aired on B4U. In this serial, she offered solutions for relationship problems. She was also part of the reality show Big Switch telecast on UTV Bindass channel in 2010. But one of her most talked about participation, is being one of the most controversial contestants of Big Boss Season 5 aired on Colors channel. Here she was regularly picking up fights with the other housemates. She got eliminated from the show but later re-entered as translator for
Andrew Symonds
. She helped the program earn maximum TRP ratings with the “spare-me” act in Big Boss 5.
A different side of Pooja Misrra was seen in a food based show of Life OK channel. This was the Hindi version of “Come Dine With Me” and was titled – Welcome, Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki.
The big screen debut for Pooja came with a Tips Films movie –
Dil Ka Rishta
. Pooja performed an item number Saajan Saajan in this movie. She has also done an item song in Hum Baaja Baja Denge. The song is titled “Tilasmi “. She will be spotted in other movies too such as Love The Way I Am and The City That Never Sleeps.
Pooja Misrra is a well known Model and Socialite. She has endorsed ad campaigns for Durian’s, Videocon, Fake’s Photography, Sansui and Lissom. She was the show-stopper at Blender’s Pride Dehradun Fashion Week for designer Amit Talwar. Pooja judged Channel V’s Indiafest held in Goa in 2012.
The glamour quotient of Pooja has been well used by several magazines. She became cover girl for “Show Time” magazine. She also featured on the cover page of Enlighten India and added the oomph factor by featuring on the double cover of Cine Blitz 2014.
