Andrew Symonds was a famous all-rounder cricketer of an Australian team. He was born on June 9, 1975. Symonds has won world cup twice, and he was a right-handed centre order batsman and swaps between off-spin bowling and medium pace. He is well known for his outstanding fielding skills. Since mid-2008, he was kept out of the team most of the time because of his penalizing reasons which include alcohol.
At the time of 2009 World Twenty20, he was suspended the third time. Then it becomes difficult for Australian administrators to tolerate him, and they withdrew their contract with Symonds, and that was the time when Symonds announced his retirement. He then wants to concentrate on a family that’s why Symonds has announced his retirement on February 16, 2012, from all forms of cricket. Symonds have excellent bowling skill, and he can bowl medium pace or off spin that makes him an excellent all-rounder, but he was a violent right-handed batsman.
In late 2005, Cricinfo reveals a report that shows, since the 1999 Cricket World Cup, he had exaggerated the 5th equivalent most runs in One Day International cricket of any fieldsman, with the 4th maximum victory rate. He is very nimble for his weight and size and has brilliant impulses, can get catches in such a fine way and has an accurate and powerful throwing arm. In 1995, Symonds won Young Cricketer of the Year award presented by Cricket Writer's Club when he plays in his first season for English county Gloucestershire.
